Salary: Up to £50,000 per year

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team in Gloucester, to provide support and leadership to a small commercial team, managing a multitude of responsibilities.

Job Description Overview:

As Contracts Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a number of sites throughout Gloucestershire, working closely with the company directors.

  • Plan and deliver projects according to program, budget, specification and quality
  • Have a clear knowledge of project specifications, in detail
  • Check and work to drawings
  • Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
  • Manage your team of Engineers and sub-contractors
  • Ensure forward planning is adopted throughout the cycle of the project
  • Overall monitoring, keeping the project works to the highest standard, reporting any issues that arise to the company directors
  • Tracking and following variations from specification, reporting to the company via agreed processes
  • Follow and respecting Company processes
Requirements:
  • Always be positive, have a great attitude, be a leader
  • 5 years minimum experience in contract and team management
  • Detailed knowledge of the plumbing & heating trade
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and time management skills
  • Design Experience
  • Estimating capabilities
  • Full UK Driving License

Mechanical Estimator - full-time
Salary: Up to £50,000 per year

An opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Estimator to join our professional and friendly team, as a leading Plumbing and Heating Company, based in Gloucester, on a full-time basis.

Job Description:
  • Identify new opportunities to tender
  • Prepare competitive net estimates for clients/customers in a timely manner based on customer drawings and specifications
  • Quoting for projects using an estimating computerised software package
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand customer drawings
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own work load
  • Experience in estimating is required

Plumbing and Heating Engineer - full-time
Salary: £41,600 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both plumbing and gas engineering, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. They will be undertaking high end projects where attention to detail is critical. They will also need to be able to communicate well and be extremely organised.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of plumbing and gas-related tasks, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, providing effective and efficient solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Plumbing and Gas Engineer for minimum of 5 years.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • OFTEC qualifications.
  • LPG and domestic gas qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • C/4’s in GCSE’s.
  • Capable of running projects with other engineers working under them
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
